Another answered prayer! - June 6th

We are so excited to share that we have a place to live in Mexico! We feel such a weight off of our shoulders.  God has answered our prayers and we know it is His hand alone that has provided for us. 

A friend, of a friend of my brother’s, someone who has really no idea who we are, other than that he is our brother in Christ, has shown us so much kindness. After we shared with him our plan for the 2024-2025 school year, and our housing options so far, he went on a search of his own for a place for us.  I figured it was probably too much to ask him to look for a place with grass, but I did mention it to him….as a side note 😉.  Sunday, June 16th, he messaged to say that he would send us videos of a new option the next morning and that he felt God was opening up a door for us to come there.  As we watched the videos he sent, I could hardly believe how God had provided everything we had asked for and more.

The place we will be living in isn’t large – it’s a mobile home with three bedrooms, a yard, trees,….and GRASS!!! There is also a play structure on the yard and a finished barn/shop, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, and an area for the kids to play.  As I watched the video of the barn for a second time, I paused it to zoom in on something I saw on the wall – a chalkboard.  For someone who is planning to homeschool our children and can hardly wait to host family, these extra features on the yard and in the shop, truly mean a lot.  God has provided a place beyond what we had ever dared to ask for and again I see how miniscule my faith is. 

Dear Lord.  Increase my faith. Amen.
