Currently, approximately two hours a day are spent picking up kids and bringing them back home. The budget for gas a month is $745 a month.
Books
$250/month
Oaks of Righteousness uses a variety of homeschool curriculum as a base for the education they provide. Most of the subject areas use a curriculum known as CLE. When dividing the total cost of books per year, by the number of months, we need to budget $250 a month for these curriculum books.
Lunches
$750/month
In order to extend the school hours into the afternoon, we need to provide the students with lunch each day. The budget for lunches for a month is $750.
Building
$150,000 - $200,000
Currently, Oaks of Righteousness is running out of a one room building. Although this is less than ideal, running three classes in one room, they have been able to make it work up to this point. With our student numbers growing, however, and the potential for substantial enrollment increases, we pray that God will provide us with a new place to run the school or funds to build a new school. The land has been purchased and we have workers willing to come and help build the school. The budget for a new school is $150,000 - $200,000.
