Border Crossing and Seeing Mexico

From Texas to Mexico it was a long drive but we were still alive when we got to our place! The border crossing to Mexico was not too long but it was good. When we got to the border, we had to get our tourist visas stamped.  We didn’t know Spanish so we asked a lot of people to try to find out where we could get our papers stamped.  After that we went back to the border, they searched our van, and then let us cross.  Our family felt very happy and we praised God for passing the border.  As we drove through Mexico, it looked like a demolished area.  There were a lot of stands and people selling stuff after the border.  The mountains were vey big and we drove through them.  The elevation was much higher than in Canada and my ears were popping a lot and it felt kind of weird.  It was a safe and fun drive to our place.

Our place here in Mexico is a little, little but it’s a very nice house with a good yard.  We are surrounded by the mountains by our house.  We went biking last night in the community and the people that we saw looked very nice and friendly. I really like the house that God has blessed us with and I think we will have a good year in Mexico.

Thank-you for all your praying and support it was a save drive all the way to Mexico.
