A fun day in Cuauhtemoc

Yesterday we went to Cuauhtemoc with  our grandparents! It was very fun! First we drove to the Cuauhtemoc lookout. It was even on a mountain! After we walked around a little bit we got some  lawn chairs and had supper. We could see the whole city of Cuauhtemoc we also could see a lot of apple orchards from the lookout. We knew that because we saw a lot of black netting. Then when  we were done eating we got in our van and went for ice cream. the ice cream was so delicious! After that fun day we went home and had a good nights sleep.

ps - Jace is loving learning the opportunity to learn Spanish - and he's doing so well! He asked me (Rose) to translate his writing into Spanish (using Google or course ;) ). So...for our Spanish readers ;), here it is.

¡Ayer fuimos a Cuauhtémoc con nuestros abuelos! ¡Fue muy divertido! Primero nos dirigimos al mirador de Cuauhtémoc. ¡Estaba incluso en una montaña! Después de caminar un poco, conseguimos algunas sillas de jardín y cenamos. Pudimos ver toda la ciudad de Cuauhtémoc y también pudimos ver muchos huertos de manzanos desde el mirador. Lo sabíamos porque vimos muchas redes negras. Luego, cuando terminamos de comer, nos subimos a nuestra camioneta y fuimos a tomar un helado. ¡el helado estaba tan delicioso! Después de ese día divertido nos fuimos a casa y dormimos bien por la noche.
